Add the players each side gives up and see who comes out ahead, using our rest-of-season projections. Values are points above a replacement-level player, so piling up bench players doesn't win a trade.

How trades are valued
- Value
- Each player's rest-of-season projection (PPR, rest of season) minus what a replacement-level player at the same spot would give you. A player you'd never start is worth about zero.
- Verdict
- Within 10% is a fair trade. Beyond that, the side getting more value wins it. Team needs matter too: a trade that loses a little value can still be right if it fills a hole in your lineup.
- Projections
- Rest of season = projected points per game (this week's model projection blended with season scoring and usage-based expected points) times the team's games left, so bye weeks and injured reserve count.
